We believe you should know what your visit costs before you book. Here's our current pricing, the same at every location, plus what MSI covers in Nova Scotia.

Online booking is available for full comprehensive eye exams only, for all other appointment types, please contact your nearest office or click to chat to arrange your appointment.
MSI, insurance & payment
MSI (Nova Scotia Health)
MSI covers routine eye exams for Nova Scotians who are under 10 or 65 and older — generally once every two years, and some patients may qualify for annual exams. Just bring your valid Nova Scotia Health Card.
Insurance & direct billing
As a convenience, we can direct-bill many insurance companies. A few things to know:
- We can bill your primary insurance only. Any balance it doesn't cover is due at the time of your appointment.
- If your appointment fee isn't paid by your insurance or MSI, our full private fees apply.
- It's the your responsibility to know what your insurance covers, and whether you're eligible for MSI.
Cancellations & missed appointments
- Cancelling or rescheduling: please give at least 24 hours' notice, otherwise it's counted as a missed appointment.
- Late arrivals: we may not be able to see you, and it may be counted as a missed appointment.
- Missed appointments: we'll ask for pre-payment on your next booking (applied to that visit). In this case we can't direct-bill insurance, but we may be able to help you submit for reimbursement afterward. If a rescheduled appointment is also missed, the pre-payment is forfeited.
